Arthur Goes to Camp is the fifth book in the Arthur Adventure series. It was written and illustrated by Marc Brown and published by Little, Brown and Company on April 30, 1982. It became adapted into a cartoon episode as the first half of episode 7 in season one.
Trivia
- This book marks the first appearance of Brain.
- The Crosswire family portrait that includes Muffy, as well as her parents Ed and Millicent, and brother Chip can be seen on one of the pages, but Muffy's parents and brother did not make an actual appearance. Her family hasn't been shown again until the cartoon, which changed their appearances, but leaving Muffy's signature hairstyle unchanged.
- Rocky, who is the coach for the boys is seen in this book, but not seen in other books after this. He never made it to the animated show.
